Walking in your local areas

Previous Next
  • View Larger Image Beige Background with different colour boxes each describing the benefits of walking on your local area. 1. Explore your local area, find walks close to the park, The Taff trail etc. 2. Be mindful on your walks, be in the moment and concentrate on the natural sounds arounds you. 3. Check in on yourself when you're walking. How are you feeling today? Take the time outside to notice how your body feels and your mind. Are you restless? Tired? Anxious? How do you feel after the walk? 4. Get Creative. If you really need to get your phone out, document your walk. Take photographs of the natural beauty in your area. This may be the flowers blooming in spring. The colours in the sky. Whatever captures your heart. Journal when you're sitting on a bench or dictate to your phone when you're walking.
