Staff are more aware of cultural and language needs, including Welsh, and more willing to question assumptions and understand the impact of culture, faith and identity. Writing the workbook highlighted overlooked progress and strengthened how we plan projects from the outset, ensuring that our wider anti-racist approach is more considered, targeted and meaningful."

New Horizons Mental Health

"New Horizons is committed to improving equality and diversity in mental health services. The Diverse Cymru Cultural Competence Certification process has helped embed this work within the charity and promote equality and diversity in our local community. Since its inception, New Horizons has undertaken the Diverse Cymru Cultural Competence Certification process. We previously achieved Silver and Silver Plus awards and continue building on this by ensuring organisation and services remain culturally competent and help address inequalities."
